One of the best ways to grow your service-based business is to focus on marketing. While this might seem obvious, it’s often one of those things that gets pushed to the bottom of the “to do” list. You need to make sure that potential customers know about your business and what you have to offer rather than being a well-kept secret. We always require our clients to have three consistent ways they are marketing, “consistent” being the keyword.  The secret to marketing, though, is to make sure your three include ways of marketing that you love.  Too many times I find business owners marketing in ways that they really dislike, and so they don’t’ do it. When you focus on three ways to market that you enjoy, your odds of staying consistent go way up!

Tip #2: Create a Great Customer Service                                                                                               

Another important tip for growing your service-based business is to create a great customer experience. Your customers should feel valued and appreciated every time they use your services. This means providing quality service and always being available to answer any questions or concerns they may have. If you can make your customers happy, they will be more likely to use your services again in the future. In my business, we believe this is so important that we created a role called, “Client Experience Specialist”.  Their job is to create an incredible experience for our clients from start to finish.

Tip #3 Stand Out from the Competition

Finally, you need to make sure that you stand out from the competition. There are probably other businesses that offer similar services to yours. So, what makes you different? Why should potential customers choose you over the others? Be sure to highlight what makes your business unique and why people should use your services. When we work with our clients, we show them how to create a powerful message that focuses on the main problem they solve for their ideal clients and the success stories they’ve had.  Those two parts together are a winning combination when it comes to showing your prospects how you stand out!

By following these three tips, you will be well on your way to growing your service-based business. Just remember to focus on marketing, creating a great customer experience, and standing out from the competition. With focus and dedication, you can achieve all the success you’ve been dreaming of.
